Ingredients

  • 23 fresh scallions (green and white parts), finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional:
    • 1 tsp lemon zest
    • 1 tsp chopped chives or parsley
    • 12 tsp Greek yogurt or milk for creamier texture
    • Everything bagel seasoning, to sprinkle

Instructions

  • Soften the Cream Cheese:
  • Let your cream cheese sit at room temperature for 30 minutes, or microwave on low for 10–15 seconds until soft.
  • Chop the Scallions:
  • Finely slice both the white and green parts of your scallions. The finer, the better!
  • Mix It All Up:
  • In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, scallions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix with a fork or hand mixer until smooth and fluffy.
  • Customize the Flavor (Optional):
  • Add lemon zest, chives, or a splash of yogurt/milk for extra tang and creaminess.
  • Chill and Serve:
  • Let it chill for 20–30 minutes before serving to let flavors meld—or enjoy immediately if you just can’t wait.
