- 8 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened
- 2–3 fresh scallions (green and white parts), finely chopped
- ¼ tsp garlic powder (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional:
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp chopped chives or parsley
- 1–2 tsp Greek yogurt or milk for creamier texture
- Everything bagel seasoning, to sprinkle
Instructions
- Soften the Cream Cheese:
- Let your cream cheese sit at room temperature for 30 minutes, or microwave on low for 10–15 seconds until soft.
- Chop the Scallions:
- Finely slice both the white and green parts of your scallions. The finer, the better!
- Mix It All Up:
- In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, scallions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix with a fork or hand mixer until smooth and fluffy.
- Customize the Flavor (Optional):
- Add lemon zest, chives, or a splash of yogurt/milk for extra tang and creaminess.
- Chill and Serve:
- Let it chill for 20–30 minutes before serving to let flavors meld—or enjoy immediately if you just can’t wait.

- Use Neufchâtel cheese for a lighter version.
- Vegan cream cheese works great for dairy-free diets.
- Keeps for 5–7 days in the fridge in an airtight container.
